Limpopo Ringball Association hosted exhibition matches in Polokwane on Saturday with the purpose of creating awareness about the sporting code and also to lure potential investors and sponsors.
Teams from various provinces participated in exhibition matches and supporters from various regions in the country attended.
Chairperson of Limpopo Ringball Association, Buks Scholtz said the matches were aimed a growing and exposing the sporting code to the general members of the public. “The sport is not well recognised compared to other sporting codes so we wanted to make it known in order to get more players,” Scholtz said.
