Gymstars collect 69 medals at championships

Gymnasts of Gymstars Gymnastics Club who competed at the recent Limpopo Championships hosted over two days in North-West and Gauteng earned themselves a total of 69 medals. Gymnasts of Gymstars Gymnastics Club who competed at the recent Limpopo Championships hosted over two days in North-West and Gauteng earned themselves a total of 69 medals.
Head Coach Lelanie Logtenberg indicated that 13 rhythmic gymnasts achieved 20 gold, eight silver as well as eight bronze medals on level 4 to 7 during the championships.
She added that the seven artistic boys on level 4 to 5 performed equally well by achieving 12 gold, 10 silver and 11 bronze medals.
These gymnasts also qualified to represent Limpopo at the South African Gym Games taking place in Gauteng from 29 September to 5 October where they compete against gymnasts from all provinces as well as Namibia.
