Former Baroka Football Club goalkeeper and 2017 Fifa Puskás Award nominee, Oscarine Masuluke signed for National First Division (NFD) outfit TS Sporting last Thursday.
Masuluke spent four months without a club following his release by Baroka in February after allegations that he and other teammates drank on the team bus.
Before joining TS Sporting Masuleke had an unsuccessful trial at Kaizer Chiefs Football Club. The former Winners Park Football Club goalkeeper said he was happy to finally find a club. “I am happy to play football again after four months in the wilderness. It was not easy to find a club because the football market is congested and competitive and there are many players out there looking for clubs.”
Masuluke added that he was grateful towards the management of TS Sporting and intended doing his best to help the team achieve their objectives and goals.
He has also asked his fans and football supporters to forgive him after his abrupt dismissal at Baroka Football Club.
“I am still sorry about the whole incident. It was a learning curve for me and I want to encourage young people, especially upcoming soccer players, to always remain focused and disciplined. Sometimes we do wrong things and we forget that people are watching,” he said.
