Members of the Bushveld Model Racing Club (BMR) gathered at the BMR track on Saturday to accumulate points for the club’s leader board by racing each other on the off-road track.
BMR member Hein van der Merwe said the attendance was lower than expected due to many other events happening at the same time. It was nevertheless an exciting and fun filled day, he added.
The club’s race day is a monthly event that allows members to build up points that will determine their ranking within the club at the end of the year. The club is situated near the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium at the municipality’s sport and recreation precinct in Burger Street.
