The first ever Jamaica Sprinters Bootcamp and Coaching Clinic to be hosted in the country will be held in Polokwane from 6 to 8 October at Hoërskool Pietersburg (PHS).
Local coach and organiser, Deon Jewaskiewitz indicated that the aim is to lure sprint coaches to attend and to receive world-class advice and training to be implemented at schools and to subsequently enhance the performance of athletes.
The event is hosted by Sport Travel Africa and powered by Racers Track Club, the home of Usain Bolt, Warren Weir and Yohan Blake to name a few.
Jewaskiewitz added that the aim and objective of the event is to learn the Jamaican sprinting secrets from Racers Track Club coaches, to train coaches and athletes and develop speed in talented participants.
Limited space is available and those interested are advised to book as soon as possible. For bookings send an email to register@sporttravelafrica.com. Registration fee is R2 500 per person. For more information contact Jewaskiewitz on 072 233 4167.
