Last Friday provided 124 supporters of Polokwane Executive Mayor Thembi Nkadimeng’s annual golf day at the Polokwane Golf Club an opportunity to socialise and make a contribution towards the city’s charity projects that includes the Mayor’s Bursary Fund that allows students to enrol at educational facilities and subsequently be employed by the municipality.
In the Ladies’ Competition, Alice Phatudi was the winner with 44 points, while Charles Mwaura won the Men’s Handicap 17 and up with 44 points. Matsobane Tleane won the Men’s Handicap 10 to 16 with 42 points and Malebane Pataki won the Men’s Handicap 9 and under with 42 points count in.
Baldwin Ramasobane, Umesh Madhav, Charles Mdluli and Kenny Mboyana were the nearest to the pin on the 4th, 8th, 11th and 16th hole. Lynette Smith, Luanie van Rooyen, Adam Milanzi and Freddy Greaver scored the longest drive on the 2nd, 7th, 12th and 17th.
