Fanie, Jooste both champ of champions

Polokwane Bowls hosted the provincial Champion of Champions on Saturday and Sunday which saw Zane Fanie from Modjadjiskloof and Theresa Olivier from Louis Trichardt taking the 2016 title Champ of Champions.
All single winners of several bowls clubs across the province battled it out on local soil to determine the best of the best in Limpopo. Bowlers came from as far as Bela-Bela to compete but it was Fanie who finished first followed by Philip Olivier from Mookgophong and André Kruger from Modimolle in second and third respectively in the men’s category.
In the women’s category Jooste top scored followed by Hettie Rossouw from Bela-Bela in second place and Bridget Calitz for Polokwane in third.
