Polokwane City Football Club have promised their fans a victory against the log leaders of the Premier Soccer League, Platinum Stars whom they host at the old Peter Mokaba Stadium on 21 November.
City are currently in the 14th position of the league with six points after nine games while Stars, who have found good form under coach Cavin Johnson, have accumulated 18 points after eight matches.
The last time City won a match was against Bloemfontein Celtic Football Club at the old Peter Mokaba Stadium in August.
“We know that our fans are running out of patience. They want results and we want to make things better for them. What we can promise then is that we are gunning for points in every match we play and we will win the match against Stars,” Club Spokesperson, Tumelo Makgoara said.
He also mentioned that they have not yet appointed a coach following the departure of Kosta Papic last month. “Nkweni Mayala is still in charge of the team and we believe he will do well for us,” Makgoara said.
