Polokwane Oval will host the final club race for the year on Saturday with drivers in all classes likely to give their all to get their hands on the club champion trophy.
The Ninja Midget class now consists of five drivers of which the youngest is only five years old.
The biggest Sprint Car race will also be presented with United States of America multiple champion Jimmy McCunne taking on some of South Africa’s biggest names in Sprint Car racing. The winner in this class will take home R10 000 sponsored by Advanced Auto Electrical.
Polokwane Oval Promoter Stephan Weideman said it is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see McCunne in action and motorsport enthusiasts should not miss out on this weekend’s event.
“With the Festive Season approaching, we urge spectators to bring along canned or non-perishable food which can be placed into a container provided for at the gate. All donations will be handed to a local shelter in an effort to enjoy the Festive Season as much as we do,” Weideman said.
Jumping castles will also be available for children as well as a surprise for them during break. Gates open at 12:00 and the race will start at 18:00. Entry fees are R60 per adult and R20 per child under 13.
