Swimmers from Eagar Aquatics performed well during the Limpopo Tuks Sprint Gala hosted in Lephalale on 1 August and claimed 30 gold, 24 silver and 22 bronze medals.
Swimmers competed against various other clubs from Limpopo. Ivan Beukes was crowned best swimmer in the boys 15 years and over category while Kayle Bridger was best boy in the 11 to 12 year category.
The girl swimmers also did Polokwane proud with Marjoné de Beer, 11 to 12 years, and Miandi Oosthuizen, 9 to 10 years, being announced best in their respective categories. Miandi was also crowned as Best Overall Girl swimmer.
