Polokwane will once again host a cage fighting event next Saturday that promises to be the biggest and most awesome event Limpopo has ever seen.
The Wild West Warriors and other fighters from across the province will take on each other in a steal cage at the St Marco Hall and the action is about to start at 18:00 with R100 entry fee payable at the door.
According to Eksteen’s Dojo owner Henri Eksteen, the main event will be the South African World International Martial Arts Association and Organisation (SA Wimaao) Last Man Standing ultimate challenge where the winner will receive a R20 000 cash prize with other winners in the prelim bouts Pro-am category pocketing R5 000 each in their respective divisions.
A cash bar and food stalls will be available.
During the ninth cage rage event hosted in April, Mixed Martial Arts fighter Cassie Bezuidenhout from the Wild West Warriors team was crowned the new Pro-am SA Wimaao champion within the Last Man Standing ultimate challenge.
The prelim amateur bouts saw Abram Makobela beat Brandon Mashinya while Kobus Young beat Donovan Kotze. Bricks Motshike was the overall winner after a nail biting triple threat bout with runner-up Lesetja Maja while Sydney Esterhuizen finished third.
