Polokwane Golf Club is due for a busy week and weekend with several competitions to be hosted in the coming days.
After Saturday’s Specsavers Individual Stableford in which 76 golfers participated, it was announced that the Modern Autohaus Captain Knock Out dates were confirmed for 22 and 26 August. Tomorrow (Friday) the Castle Lite Sundowner and Braai Day will commence at 11:30 as well as the Laerskool Pietersburg-Oos Golf Day. On Saturday Polokwane Golf Club will host the Amarillo Spur Better Ball Stableford as well as the start of the biangular between Limpopo and Mpumalanga which will continue on Sunday.
Saturday’s event saw Andries du Plessis taking the win followed by Belinda Schutte and Ernest Ives in second and third respectively.
Lennie Olley was nearest to pin on the eighth hole while Nick Notley landed his ball closest to the pin on the 16th hole.
