The president should step down after dooming Nkandla report

The Public Protector, Thuli Madonsela recently released the Nkandla report, which painted president Jacob Zuma and his family as having unreasonably benefitted from the state and the ugrades to his homestead.

I think the president should do the honourable thing and resign from office.

The report has proven beyond any reasonable doubt that our number 1 is not fit for that office.

The report also proved that Zuma cannot be trusted with public funds.

From the comments on Twitter and Facebook and other conversations that people are having in the streets, it is clear that South Africans are no longer happy with a man who is always making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

I am not judging him, but his actions are not blameless.

My wish is that the president does the country a favour and steps down. We believed in his cause, but he is failing to lead by example.
