POLOKWANE – Northview Christian Academy recently hosted a soccer match against Northern Academy, who beat them 2-0.
The u/13 girls soccer coach, Werner Janse van Rensburg told Review the team has been practicing weekly and tried their best to play a good game. The excitement and enthusiasm were evident as they competed on the field.
“As we watched the girls play, they reminded us coaches that they indeed have a bright future ahead of them. Though we did not win, they played and defended well. Well done to our girls and the opposing team.”
Northern Academy u/13 girls coach and former soccer player Diana Matli, said both teams provided the hard work their coaches taught them and indeed delivered the goods on the day. “Our girls did great and their hard work truly paid off on that big field.”
