Noordskool netball girls receive backpacks
First team netball captain, Didi Buthelezi told Review said even though they knew they would be receiving the backpacks, it still came as a nice surprise to see these personalised with their names on.
POLOKWANE – Looking forward to the South African Schools Netball tournament soon, Laerskool Pietersburg Noord’s (Noordskool) first team and the u/12As finally received their sponsored backpacks last week.
First team netball captain, Didi Buthelezi told Review said even though they knew they would be receiving the backpacks, it still came as a nice surprise to see these personalised with their names on.
“These are one of those special moments that we must cherish and appreciate. As the Noordskool netball teams, we believe that with all the sponsors that came on board to sponsor backpacks, water bottles, socks and snacks, this is great encouragement from our support structure which includes teachers and coaches, as well as our parents. We are really thankful for all the sponsors.”
Principal Greg Schoeman who will be among those to accompany the girls to Boksburg for the tournament, wished them well for the event.
