POLOKWANE – A drop in temperature will bring much needed relief to residents in Polokwane this week following an intense heatwave over the weekend and into Monday.
Mild to warm temperatures are expected in the city this week with maximum temperatures of between 24°C and 35°C on the cards.
Temperatures will drop from Wednesday and will remain mild into the latter half of the week before picking up again at the weekend.
According to AccuWeather’s forecast, there is a slight chance of rain this week with a 25% and 12% chance of rain on Tuesday and Wednesday with partly cloudy conditions and sunshine expected on Wednesday.
The cloudy conditions will clear from Friday as temperatures pick up from Saturday into next week.
Minimum temperatures will remain in the low to high teens this week and will range from 14°C and 18°C.
