Eduan Park residents to be in the dark for 9-hours

The municipality advises all affected residents to treat electrical wiring as live throughout the interruption and to switch off all appliances to avoid any injury or damage when power is restored.

POLOKWANE – Residents in the Eduan Park area will be without power for most of the day on Wednesday (October 2).

The Polokwane Municipality says the planned power interruption is to allow the relocation of an existing medium voltage (11kV) pole to facilitate the construction of a road for Bendor Extension 126 Phase 1A.

Municipal spokesperson Thipa Selala said the interruption will take place from 07:00 to 16:00 and will last nine hours.

“The municipality advises all affected residents to treat electrical wiring as live throughout the interruption and to switch off all appliances to avoid any injury or damage when power is restored,” his statement read.
