Mitchell House Gr 10s back from camp

Mitchell House Grade 10s return transformed after 17-day camp experience aimed at teamwork, resilience, and personal growth.

POLOKWANE – After 17 incredible days at Moepathutse Camp and two days off school under the theme ‘Growing People of Significance’, Mitchell House Gr 10s are back at school.

From daring adventures to new friendships, the learners returned stronger, braver and with lots of stories that will inspire their schoolmates.

“We can’t wait to see the impact this journey has had on each one of them,” college teacher Doug Friedemann, who was with them on the trip, said.

He was proud of how dedicated and passionate the Gr 10 learners were during the camp.

During the camp, learners took part in various team-building activities including hiking, tree house and wall climbing, campfire sessions, admiring the waterfalls and more fun and beneficial activities.
