Special needs children encouraged to enroll at Dinaletsana Haven

The owner of Dinaletsana Haven, Mari Bezuidenhout's vision is to serve children who need special attention and care in less privileged areas.

MOKOPANE – Mari Bezuidenhout’s dreams came true overnight when she opened the doors of Dinaletsana Haven, a special needs daycare centre, in January.

Located in Sekgakgapeng village, just outside town, this school marks a significant milestone in her career.

For years, Mari served as the principal of Rising Stars Academy.

“With my background and experience from Rising Stars Academy, and the guidance of Dahnae Bethel, I realised this was something I wanted to pursue. Parents in the area also expressed concern about many children sitting at home without any stimulation,” she explained.

After a long period of prayer and seeking guidance, Mari decided to move forward with the project wholeheartedly.

Her vision is to serve children who need special attention and care in less privileged areas.

Dinaletsana Haven specialises in services for learning difficulties, communication, social, behavioural and emotional skills, as well as basic life skills for an improved quality of life, sensory, and visual learning.
