POLOKWANE – Ursula Kakaretso Marule is a Gr 8 and 9 English first additional language teacher at Noorderland High School.
Marule joined the school in April last year, armed with her love for the language and a desire to make an impact in the life of the learners that she teaches.
Marule shared that she was drawn to the English language because she found it fascinating.
“There are many details that one must pay attention to when learning the language. From the moment I started understanding how deep it gets, I gained interest. Everyday I am learning,” she explained.
She shared that becoming a teacher was a no brainer because she is a talkative person who likes to engage with people. She is a verbal person hence she opted to study a subject that was aligned with her personality. It gives her more pleasure because she does what she loves and gets to make a difference in somebody’s life while doing so.
When she is not at work, you can find her at home, reading a book and spending time with her family.
