Rido Maguga who is the founder of her own marketing company is a firm believer that a women should work hard to achieve what she wants in life.
POLOKWANE – Founder and CEO of Prestige IMC Rido Maguga (30) from Polokwane is living prove that a woman can do anything she sets her mind too.
Maguga is the epitome of hard work as she saved up money she made from part-time jobs to start her own company which was founded in 2019.
She believes that women should be independent and always find new ways tomake a living, hence she saved up money to open her marketing and communication agency which specialises in integrated marketing communication (IMC), public relations and digital marketing communications based in Polokwane.
She explained that she approaches and prioritises developing relationships with individuals, understanding their needs and managing a mutually beneficial relationship by making their product desirable to the target market and providing reputable long-term strategies. “I believe there is no perfect timing, I make the time perfect for everyone that needs my assistance. Business growth is essential for my role and attentiveness in entrepreneurship, especially for entrepreneurs who want to turn their businesses into sustainable timeless ventures,” she said.
Maguga is a public relations graduate from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology where she obtained a bachelors degree with a demonstrated background in marketing (both digital and traditional), social media management, strategy, brand management, client services and branding. Her services range from beauty, automotive, media, FMCG, legal, financial institutions, telecommunications, events, travel, design, alcoholic beverages, non-profit organisations, personal brands, energy and educational institutions.
Maguga also holds a certificate in occupational health and safety from the University of Cape Town. “My love for digital transformation, society, business and cultured solutions is evident in the research I apply when doing brand audits and formulating marketing strategies for business development purposes. I always aim to add value to society, build and maintain strong businesses and embrace people. Prestige IMC runs complementary brand audits for all businesses requiring service.
