Pipe leak affects water supply to city of Polokwane

POLOKWANE – The Polokwane Municipality said water supply to the city will be restored once repairs have been completed at the Krugersburg reservoirs.

Municipal spokesperson Thipa Selala said most areas, specifically residents in the CBD, Bendor and surrounding areas have been affected by a pipe leak.

Selala said Lepelle Northern Water has estimated three hours for repairs to be completed.

“It may take some time before flow reaches all affected areas of supply,” the statement reads.
