FCHS requests paint sponsorship from community

Flora Park Comprehensive High School principal, Joseph Ntsiene Masekela said the revamp will ensure a neat image and show the effort that goes into maintaining the school.

POLOKWANE – Flora Park Comprehensive High School (FCHS) needs the help of a business or sponsor to refurbish their school’s paint work.

The principal, Joseph Ntsiene Masekela, is requesting assistance so they can see to it that the school’s appearance is what it should be.

“It is important that how the school looks from the outside matches the vibrance that exists inside. For the past few years, we have been working hard to create a better image of the school and we would appreciate it to have the outside reflect those efforts,” he said.

He added that the revamp will ensure a neat image and show the effort that goes into maintaining the school. They would like to paint the roof, the gates and railings, to match the school’s colours.

Another major project that the school would like to undertake is the building of a hostel to accommodate Gr 12 learners. He explained that this is to create a place to sleep during camp and hosting evening classes.

“We really believe that it will help to improve our academic performance. It will also save on the cost of hiring venues to conduct our holiday camps, which we believe parents will appreciate,” he said.

Anybody willing to assist can contact the school at 015 296 2493 or alternatively, phone 082 806 5951.
