World Cup action at Flying Pig Fan Park

POLOKWANE – Sport truly unites people, and judging by the spirit at the Flying Pig Fan Park over the weekend, no phrase may be truer these days.

Residents, young and old dressed up in the favourite Springbok attire to gather at the fan park, situated at the Flying Pig at The Farmyard on Friday and Sunday in anticipation of the first World Cup matches.

With eyes fixed on the big screen and a drink in hand, supporters made sure to show their support.

The Rugby World Cup 2023 kicked off on Friday, with an official opening ceremony and a match between France as this year’s hosts, and New Zealand.
