Seshego Comedy Fiesta to give locals a platform

The show will host over 20 local comedians as well as Celeste Ntuli, Skhumba Hlophe, Salesman, Sammy Fever, TikTokers and musicians.

POLOKWANE – Locals are promised a fun-filled day full of laughter and joy at the second edition of the Seshego Comedy Fiesta penned for August 5 at the Ngwako Ramahlodi Sports Centre.

The show will host over 20 local comedians, TikTokers and musicians as well as other well-known comedians such as Celeste Ntuli, Skhumba Hlophe, Salesman, Sammy Fever.

According to Charles Mphago from Pushatainment, the fiesta will give local comedians a platform as they believe that every good thing starts at home.

“I believe this event will act as a tool to break social standards and norms with regards to mental health and societal values. Our purpose is to fight mental illnesses and all social ills through an up-market comedy show,” he said.

The comedy show will also give local businesses a platform to showcase their products through stalls.

“Local businesses will have an opportunity to generate income and network with other big brands,” he said.

The group also led a convoy on July 15 joined by Sapa Yopa and Miss Limpopo Province Mary Grace Whitehead to activate the mood for the show. During the convoy, the group visited Mall of the North, Savannah Mall, Seshego Circle Centre and Seshego Zone 4.
