Planned power supply interruption to affect Seshego residents

Residents in Seshego and surrounding areas will be without power for nine hours on Wednesday due to planned maintenance.

POLOKWANE – A planned power supply interruption will affect residents in Seshego and surrounding areas for nine hours on Wednesday (July 19).

The Polokwane Municipality said the planned interruption is due to the replacement of bushings at the Sigma Substation.

Municipal spokesperson Thipa Selala said residents will be without power from 07:00 to 16:00.

The following areas will be affected:

– Circle Centre
– Extension 73
– Hospital View
– Madiba Park
– Part of Luthuli Park
– Part of Zone 2 next to BP
– Fuel Station
– Seshego Hospital
– Zone 1

“All affected users are advised to treat all electrical appliances as live during the interruption and to switch off all appliances to avoid injury and damage once supply is restored,” Selala said.
