Masante Glam to offer mentorship for aspiring make-up artists

The Polokwane-based artist and founder of Masante Glam, Themby Bhebhe said it is important for her to train young and aspiring make-up artists.

POLOKWANE – Masante Glam offers free make-up training to aspiring make-up artists, to help them reach their full potential and to grow in the industry.

The Polokwane-based artist and founder of Masante Glam, Themby Bhebhe said it is important for her to train young and aspiring make-up artists.

She recently hosted a competition on social media, where entrants had to voice their long-term goals in the make-up industry.

Wendy Moeletseng, Khomotso Semosa, Nhlalala Mawila, Khosa Lesego and Noko Esther were chosen as the winners on July 5.

“I would like them to go and show off their polished skills once they are done with the training,” Bhebhe said. The winners will also be mentored and trained in social media management. Hopefully, they will be able to run their own make-up businesses one day, with a comprehensive knowledge of the industry.”

Mawila said she could not wait to learn new make-up techniques.

“I will use this opportunity to learn more about the latest trends and to acquire knowledge on skincare as well as how to enhancing my skills to create different looks.”
