107 stolen televisions confiscated from Musina China Mall

Limpopo police say the televisions were stolen during a hijacking in Vosloorus, Gauteng, in October 2022. 

LIMPOPO – A 44-year-old man was released on R10 000 bail for possession of suspected stolen property following his arrest on July 10.

The man was arrested at the Musina China Mall following the discovery of 107 Samsung 32 inch televisions by police.

Spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba said the police noticed the man carrying a television and approached him.

“The suspect failed to give reasonable answers after being questioned by police and the televisions were recovered at a storeroom following preliminary investigations,” he said.

Malesela confirmed the televisions were stolen during a hijacking in Vosloorus, Gauteng, in October 2022.

“The suspect was arrested immediately and 107 televisions totaling R375 000 was confiscated. Investigations continue,” he said.
