Temperatures to remain in the teens in Polokwane this week

Maximum temperatures will range between 14ºC and 18ºC this week with times of clouds and sunny conditions expected. 

POLOKWANE – As a cold front with sub-polar air continues to make its way across the country, temperatures will remain cold in Polokwane for the rest of the week.

The cold front, which reached the city on Sunday evening, brought chilly winds and a significant drop in temperature with it.

According to AccuWeather’s forecast, maximum temperatures in the mid to high teens will persist across the city with warmer conditions only expected next week.

Maximum temperatures will range between 14ºC and 18ºC this week with times of clouds and sunny conditions expected.

A slight drop in temperature is expected over the weekend with highs of 15ºC forecast for both Saturday and Sunday.

There is a 25% chance of rain today (July 10) with clearer conditions expected for the rest of the week.

The South African Weather Service says they are closely monitoring this weather system and will update the public when needed.
