More thunderstorms expected in Polokwane this week

POLOKWANE – Keep an umbrella close-by this week as more thunderstorm activity is expected in the city.

AccuWeather’s forecast suggests thunderstorms on Monday (February 20) and over the weekend as well with a 1%-90% chance throughout the week.

Their forecast also indicates warmer temperatures for this week with maximum temperatures in the mid to high twenties and low thirties anticipated.

Tuesday (February 21) will be the warmest day of the week with sunny skies and a high of 31ºC, while Wednesday will ‘cool down’ to 26ºC and will be mostly cloudy and “not as warm”.

The rest of the week will remain partly cloudy and humid with a high chance of rain on Saturday (February 25).
