Jabez spoils drummies with a gala dinner to celebrate the year
Each majorette was called on stage to receive a certificate and medal for the hard work and dedication they put in throughout the year.
POLOKWANE – Jabez Christian Academy hosted a gala dinner for the drum majorettes last Friday to thank them for their hard work and outstanding performances during the year.
Teacher Christelle Smit and principal Elana Erasmus called out each learner to the stage to receive a certificate and medal for various disciplines that they participated in.
Erasmus told the learners and parents that the event would not have been possible had it not been for the dedicated drummies’ hard work.
She further thanked all the girls for representing the school well and said sports are social cohesion activities and therefore they should participate as it will refresh their minds.
“Remember to nurture your talent because it can take you somewhere in life, you never know how far you’ll get with the talent and skills you have until you put it to the test.”
