The Learning Mill takes a trip under the sea
Learners at The Learning Mill Montessori School celebrated the end of the year with song, dance, certificates and a whole lot of smiles.
POLOKWANE – With movies such as The little Mermaid, Finding Nemo and Moana, children easily remember the words of the popular songs used to tell the tales.
Using this concept as starting point for their concert theme this year, the teachers at The Learning Mill Montessori School opted for a wonderful show from under the sea.
The young ones, dressed in white and pastel colours, walked onto the stage and with guidance from dance teacher Megan Henning, set off a show not to be forgotten.
The opening song was Under the Sea from The Little Mermaid, after which it was time for a poem titled Five Little Fishes Swimming in the Sea.
Dancing to the rhythm of Down in the deep blue sea, the children entertained their parents and kept them on the edge of their seats.
Baby shark also featured followed by a swim in the deep blue sea.
The morning came to an end as each learner received a certificate, their reports and a special treat to celebrate the end of the year.
