The Kameeldoring Parkrun needs assistance from the community

Parkruns are free to join and is a positive, welcoming and inclusive experience where there is no time limit, and no one finishes last.

THERE are many reasons to take part in the Parkrun, whether you want to walk, jog, run or volunteer, it is the one of the best ways to spend your Saturday mornings.

You can enhance your health and happiness in the great outdoors while you make new friends, and it is a way to feel part of a fitness family.

Parkruns are free to join and is a positive, welcoming and inclusive experience where there is no time limit and no one finishes last. But to join the Parkrun family you have to register on the Parkrun website, it is also completely free to register.

All you have to do once you have registered is to bring your barcode with you every Saturday to receive an email with your official results.

Kameeldoring Parkrun takes place every Saturday morning from 07:00 at the Kameeldoring Golf Club. Anyone can join, even if you don’t want to actually run, you can still promote a healthy lifestyle by being a volunteer or a spectator.

The volunteers assist with time keeping, handing out tokens, scanning, and sweepers (the runners behind the runners).
