Waterberg High School learners awarded for stellar achievements

School principal André Horn, as well as the teachers congratulated the learners for their hard work and academic excellence at the prize-giving ceremony.

MOKOPANE – Waterberg High School hosted their prize-giving function in their school hall last week Thursday, where learners were awarded for their academic excellence throughout the year.

School principal André Horn opened the award ceremony with a short scripture reading and a prayer.

Parents attended the ceremony to witness and share in the proud moments of their children.

Multiple teachers presented the accolades to the various grades as the learners were called on stage to receive their awards.

The school also used the occasion to announce the prefects and the four head prefects for 2023.

The prefects are: Gwangwa Lebogang, Mpyapedi Thato, Moremi Morongwa, Ndlove Nikiwe, Boloko Mokgadi, Thapedi Rebotile, Sekele Pabaletsego, Moabelo lehlogonolo, Boya Mmagwasha, Sekwakwa Kgodiso, Ramasobane Damaries, Moselana Hendrik, Monama Karabo, Dangirwa Destiny, Sadike Kamogelo, Magongoa Refilwe.

The head girl and boy are Mochosa Ledile and Setumo Lebogang, the deputy head girl and boy are Mogodi Mahlodi and Mpai Christopher.

The principal and teachers congratulated the learners for their excelled achievements throughout the year.
