MOKOPANE – Mokopane English Primary School recently visited the Percy Fyfe Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) outside town as part of their outreach project.
Each learner had the opportunity to donate food that would contribute towards the feeding of the animals at te SPCA.
School communicator Charmaine Neethling confirmed the team of 19 learners along with their teachers, Lizanne Lensley and Lara Forssman, collected and donated over a hundred items.
“Our learners enjoyed the time at the animal shelter as they had an opportunity to cuddle and interact with the animals,” the teachers said.
The school thanked the parents for their contribution because, as they say, ‘a good deed brightens a dark world.’
