LIMPOPO – Six suspects, aged between 19 and 35, were pursued and arrested after they robbed a shop owner in Maroge village yesterday (October 21).

The vehicle is also suspected to have been used in multiple other similar crimes.

These suspects reportedly hail from KwaZulu-Natal and could possible be linked to various crimes in Limpopo and other provinces.

Investigations continue to determine the origin of the stolen devices.

“The arrrest of these suspects should send a clear message to those contemplating committing crimes. The police, working with local communities, are determined to curb criminal activities,” said provincial police commissioner Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe and congratulated the officials on their swift response.

The six suspects will appear before the Nebo Magistrate’s Court on Monday (October 24) facing charges of robbery and possession of suspected stolen properties.
