POLOKWANE – Four of the five cars involved in this morning’s multi-vehicle bumper bash were damaged.
Traffic was brought to a complete standstill at the Landdros Mare and Pietersburg Street intersection just after 07:00 this morning.
According to eye witnesses on the scene, one of the cars crossed the intersection before realising it was not his turn yet and abruptly stopped his vehicle. This then led to a bumper bash.
Another eye witness claims the driver of the vehicle was using his cellphone at the time of the incident.
Traffic officials and emergency services were on scene and no injuries were reported.
The scene has been cleared and traffic is flowing as usual.
