Tammylee gets serious about self-defence

Tammylee Ferreira (17) recently hosted a self-defence class with the Krav Maga Polokwane team as part of her journey as a Miss Regal International Teen SA finalist.

POLOKWANE – As a finalist of the Miss Regal International Teen SA competition, Hoërskool Pietersburg (PHS) learner Tammylee Ferreira (17) hosted an action-packed self defence class on Saturday, October 8.

The class formed part of her mandatory community work and aligns with her chosen community organisation, StandUnited SA that is against gender based violence, child abuse and bullying.

“The organisation aims to create awareness and be a voice to help victims,” she told the Polokwane Observer.

Tammylee joined Wayne Zandberg and Justin Pierce of the Krav Maga Polokwane team at PHS where they equipped women with neccessary self-defence skills.

In 2021, at the age of 16 she spread her wings and joined ACE Models JHB North where she was chosen to participate in a bridal show and a Catrice Cosmetics campaign.
