Sales representatives said this expo was a great business opportunity and thanked the residents who supported the businesses on the day.

POLOKWANE – The Business Expo and Oktoberfest took place at the Pietersburg Civil Airodrome on Saturday.

The event consist an outdoor exhibition with enjoyable activities from food trucks, music, beer garden and an outdoor car market.

The exhibition had various businesses and organisations presenting their products such as classic cars, modern cars, trucks, tractors and motorbikes, as well as other stalls selling jewellery, biltong and wireless services, among others.

This created the perfect opportunity to form partnerships with other businesses.

BB Ford sales executive Mamma Madisha said the expo should be held quarterly.

“As sales representatives, we get to interact with others and from that, we learn so much. Expos like this one show that people in Polokwane are investing in businesses, small or big.”

Event co-ordinator Danie Bouwer said the event was a great success and all the money made on the day goes to old age homes.

“The turnout exceeded my expectations and all the money that is received from the expo and the beer fest is going into various charity programmes.”

The expo was concluded by a well-attended beer fest in pure German style with an oompha band ensuring joyous tunes.
