Fans give Makhadzi’s One Woman Show a thumbs up

Popular artist Makhadzi kept concert goers on their feet at her One Woman Show which also saw performances by Sho Madjozi, King Mondada and Master KG.

LIMPOPO – Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, famously known as Makhadzi, from Ha-Mashamba, Tshivhangani outside Elim brought the biggest party back home with her concert, titled One Woman Show.

Partygoers filled up Makhuvha Stadium outside Thohoyandou on Saturday to see Makhadzi show off her mesmerising moves and to sing along to the catchy lyrics of her songs.

Various other artists had the opportunity to share the same stage and kept the audience on their feet and in the best mood throughout the evening.

Mr. Brown gave a stellar performance during the show, and the same can be said for Sho Madjozi, who once again proved to be among the best artists.

The concert organisers ensured that 90% of the performing artists were local musicians, like Mizo Phyll who wowed party-goers at midnight with his stunning performance.

Somizi entertains the audience as the host of the One Woman Show.

Daliwonga delivered a massive performance, while King Monada had the crowd mesmerised. Master KG ensured there was never a dull moment on the dance floor and Gusba Banana kept the fans in a party mood. The partygoers had a great time and danced well into the night.

Other artists in the line-up included Zanda Zakuza, Lay Du, Gusba Banana, Rofhiwa Manaya and Vee Mampeeza, who kept everyone dancing and smiling throughout the show.

On the deck was Fistos Valley, DJ Call Me, Fortunator, DJ malwelaRabs Vhafuwi, Salim Sgo, Enosoul and DJ Mfundis, who kept the discs spinning through the night and showed off their mixing skills, with interval performances from the queen Makhadzi herself.

Khakhathi and Friends amazed partygoers with his reggae tunes for which the partygoers showed their appreciation.

Dr Malinga was also favourite and showed off his Kung-fu kicks on the stage.

Concert organisers and the audience also gave a big thumbs up to the One Woman Show hosts, Somizi, Ms Kulie, Kwenisto, Shandukani Luwareni, Sydney Ramakuela, Gabriel Temudzani and Vhafuwi from the SABC 2 soapie Muvhango as they did a splendid job.
