Heat-wave advisory leads to high temperatures in Polokwane

No rain has been forecast for Polokwane this week as temperatures are set to range between 29ºC and 34ºC.

POLOKWANE – This week is set to be a scorcher in Polokwane as parts of Limpopo battle with heat-wave conditions.

The South African Weather Service issued an advisory for heat wave conditions in the south-western bushveld of Limpoo, the highveld of Mpumalanga and Gauteng.

According to the People’s Weather’s forecast, temperatures are set to peak in the mid to low thirties for the rest of the week.

The week will start off at a balmy 33ºC with maximum temperatures peaking at 34ºC on Tuesday (October 4).

Temperatures will range between 29ºC and 34ºC this week with sunny conditions expected. However, partly cloudy conditions are expected on Wednesday (October 5).

No rain has been forecast with a 0% chance for the rest of the week.
