ActionSA boasts with tremendous growth in Limpopo

Limpopo provincial chairperson Sello Lediga gave a report on his first 90 days with the party and how Project 2024 will help them to achieve great things.

POLOKWANE – ActionSA’s Limpopo provincial chairperson Sello Lediga says the party has grown commendably since his induction by Herman Mashaba as their president on June 20.

He said this during a briefing to members of the media on September 21 at the Garden Court Hotel in Polokwane and gave feedback on the progress made in the last 90 days.

The party gained over 15 000 members and established 64 branches across all five districts of the province.

“At this stage of our hard work we average five branch launches every weekend, including Sundays,” he mentioned.

Lediga announced they now have offices in the province and specifically said it is one of his greatest achievements, where the Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) will be working from, as referring people to online platforms was inconvenient for the party’s good reputation.

“You cannot call yourself a PEC when you do not have a place where you run your operations from. When you recruit people and they ask where we are located, you can now tell them at 21 Plein Street in Polokwane.”

He titled these achievements Project 2024 – a phrase ActionSA uses when referring to the work they do in preparation for the 2024 General Election.

Towards the end of the press conference, Lediga introduced the PEC officially, inclusive of two traditional leaders where one was affiliated with the ANC (Chief Nengwekhulu) and another under the Congress of Traditional Leaders of South Africa (Kgoshi Letsiri Phaahla).
