LIMPOPO – The provincial police commissioner Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has commended the dedicated teams from the SAPS, SANDF and farmers in the Alldays area who tracked down the suspects involved in a farm attack on Thursday (September 22).
A group of five armed suspects entered the Schietfontein farm house on Thursday morning and demanded money and firearms.

Police spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo said an elderly woman (71), her son (47) and a farm worker were accosted by the suspects who then shot the trio and seriously injured them.
Mojapelo said the suspects fled on foot after taking money, firearms and ammunition.
“The swift reaction by members of the Beitbridge Musina Task Team, the Musina Flying Squad, the SANDF, local farmers and Alldays SAPS led to the activation of a massive search operation,” he said.
The team tracked down the suspects who were hiding within the farming precinct and they were arrested.
“The police recovered the stolen items during the arrest,” he said.
Hadebe said the partnership between the teams involved is highly commendable and has to be strengthened in all corners of the province.
The five suspects between the ages of 26 and 34 are expected to appear before the Senwabarwana Magistrate’s Court on Monday (September 26) and will face charges of attempted murder and armed robbery.
