POLOKWANE – Future Stars Cricket Academy will host an open day coaching clinic at Capricorn High School on September 17.
The day will see cricketers from the ages 7-18 years hone their cricket skills presented by Titans head coach Mandla Mashimbyi and former Proteas wicket keeper and batsman, Mangaliso Mosehle.
“We bring high quality coaching to the province. This is something young cricketers are not exposed to on a daily basis compared to the cricket players in Gauteng and other provinces. Through good quality coaching there is a great pathway for them to succeed. We want to expose the cricketers to the coaches and their methods,” the director of Future Stars Group, Sedibu Mohlaba, said.
He added that on the day the cricketers will learn a few drills and other cricket methods.
“We have invited schools to bring their cricketers as well. We encourage everyone to enjoy some fun cricket matches while being taught the basics of the game,” Mohlaba said.
