Police spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela said the suspects entered the farm house, killed the farmer and injured his wife by burning her with an unknown object.

“The suspects ransacked the house and took two plasma televisions, firearms, cellphones, tools and other items. They loaded the robbed items into the victims’ bakkie and fled the scene,” he said.
