POLOKWANE – Municipal spokesperson Thipa Selala said the planned power outage meant to take place on Saturday (August 27) has been cancelled.

Selala said this is due to the Frogfoot Sevens Rugby and Fast Five netball tournament to be hosted at Technical High School Tom Naudé.

Selala added that all substations have be switched off and they are unable to isolate the school.

“We will reschedule to a soon-to-be-communicated date,” he told the Polokwane Review.
