Municipal offices to close early on Thursday
Municipal spokesperson Thipa Selala said essential services will be provided uninterrupted.
POLOKWANE – The municipal offices as well as the Rates Hall will close earlier on Thursday (August 18).
Municipal spokesperson Thipa Selala announced this in a statement and explained that the closure is due to a staff meeting.
“The offices will close at 14:00, but essential services will be provided uninterrupted. Offices will continue to operate as normal from 08:00 on Friday (August 19),” he said.
Selala shared various methods through which payments for municipal services can be made:
- Electronic funds transfer.
- Pick n Pay.
- Shoprite/Checkers.
- Spar.
- Woolworths.
He added that: “Prepaid water and electricity can be purchased at 7 Eleven at the corner of Marshall and Drop streets, via your cellphone or at Spar supermarkets. For assistance with your water smart meter, kindly contact 087 350 2770. For the reconnection of services, residents can contact 083 301 3738, 083 673 3238, 081 716 1343 or 081 747 0878.”
