Repairs on burst pipe to affect water supply in Ladanna

Areas that are experiencing supply challenges are advised to report issues to the municipal water and sanitation helpline so the municipality can assist.

POLOKWANE – Water supply to Ladanna has been interrupted by repairs on a burst pipe along Vermekuliet Street.

The Polokwane Municipality spokesperson Thipa Selala said the maintenance team has estimated six hours from 09:00 for the completion of repairs and that water supply will be restored once the team has finalised repairs.

He added that water tankers will also assist in providing temporary relief to affected areas including those already experiencing supply challenges in Moregloed, Oost Street, the upper parts of Fauna Park, Flora Park, Serala View and Sterpark.

“Customers in Ivydale, Thabo Mbeki and Webster, upper parts of Bendor and of Seshego are experiencing low pressure. We encourage residents experiencing supply challenges to report issues to the municipal water and sanitation helpline so the municipality can assist promptly,” he said.
