Tekkie Town special to celebrate store opening at Savannah Mall

Limpopo and Mpumalanga divisional manager Lauzurus Makena said they are excited to open a store at Savannah Mall as it will make shopping convenient to customers in the area.

POLOKWANE – Tekkie Town are celebrating the opening of their Savannah Mall store with a 10% off special on all branded apparel.

The special, which ends on August 8, includes clothing, shoes and back-packs from brands including Converse, Vans, Umbro, Adidas, Nike and Puma.

A blue carpet was laid outside the store as staff were joined by their colleagues from Gauteng and Mpumalanga to celebrate the opening.

Before officially opening the doors to customers, staff sang and danced together and Limpopo and Mpumalanga divisional manager Lauzurus Makena gave a welcome address.

Makena said they are excited to open a store at Savannah Mall as it will make shopping convenient to customers in the area.

“We have 400 stores operating in South Africa as well as in Lesotho and Namibia. We plan to open a store in Botswana and we would like to open 100 more stores around Polokwane,” he said.

Tekkie Town was established in 2000 and is part of the Pepkor Group of companies under their specialty division.

To make it convenient for all shoppers, Tekkie Town accepts cash, lay-buys and various cards to purchase.
