Westvaal Polokwane: Here for the long run

"Westvaal Polokwane is a fixed investment; we offer customers something special and are here for the long run," executive director Heinrich Prinsloo said.

POLOKWANE – Clients, both new and established, gathered to celebrate the opening of Westvaal Motor Group Polokwane’s new premises on Saturday.

The event was designed as a fun day, featuring jumping castles for children and a a well-designed 4×4 track for visitors to test their skills.

The track included challenging elements such as rocks, a tunnel, a wooden log bridge, a sideways hill, and a very steep hill, demonstrating the strength, reliability, and safety of Westvaal Motor Group vehicles.

The vehicles were driven by trained specialists who safely navigated the course.

Visitors get an adrenaline ride on the steep hill on the 4×4 track.

Dealer Principal Johann Steyn expressed gratitude to everyone who attended, saying, “We appreciate everyone who took time to come and join, support, and visit us on this big day. Thank you to the Westvaal Polokwane team that also worked hard on the day to make sure that all visitors were promptly attended to.”

Prior to the fun day, Westvaal hosted a special VIP event last Wednesday, treating clients and business partners to a glamorous evening in the Isuzu showroom.

The Ndlovu Youth Choir entertained guests with music while they enjoyed a glass of bubbly. Dealer Principals Peter Adams (Isuzu Trucks) and Johann Steyn (Isuzu LCV, Isuzu Passenger and Stellantis) welcomed guests and shared the history of the Westvaal Motor Group before inviting executive director Heinrich Prinsloo to speak.

“Westvaal Polokwane is a fixed investment; we offer customers something special and are here for the long run,” Prinsloo said, explaining that his father, Mike Prinsloo, founded the Westvaal Motor Group and that six family members are part of the Westvaal Motor Group team.

Billy Tom, president of Isuzu Motors South Africa, congratulated the Westvaal Motor Group on their success and praised the new showroom. Charl Timms, commercial director of Stellantis, also expressed his gratitude for being part of the Westvaal Motor Group team, highlighting it as the largest group for Stellantis.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony featured Tom cutting the red Isuzu Trucks ribbon, Timms cutting the blue Stellantis ribbon, and Mike cutting the white Westvaal ribbon. Guests were then given a tour of the new premises to see the business operations in action.

The evening concluded with another performance by the Ndlovu Youth Choir.
